Mastodon has published four short videos documenting the process of recording their latest album Once More ‘Round the Sun. There’s not a lot to learn from these videos – they’re not tutorials of course – but you might get a kick out of seeing all the sweet guitars and other gear.
One thing I found particularly interesting was how guitarist Brent Hinds does a lot of his single-note picking parts right at the bridge. This is something I can steal for my recordings!
